The other guys is a story about two detectives who dream to become the city's top cops. Will Ferrel plays the role of Detective Allen Gambel who is a forensic accountant whose more into paper work rather than the crime scenes out there in the city streets. Mark Wahlberg plays the role of Detective Terry Hoitz ,a tough guy who loves action. Both of them are stuck with each other and they idolize to become city's top cop's but when there's a glimpse of hope to achieve their goals, things don't quiet go as planned.
